Hello Welcome To Country Roots February Blog

Hello Welcome To  Country Roots

February  Blog

We really do have some great new dances for you to look at and hopefully learn. The dances aren't easy dances by any means, but if they were, where's the fun in that.
Ok the first dance  is called

Your The Reason;
Count: 32         Wall: 2        Level: Advanced

Choreographer: Neville Fitzgerald & Julie Harris (December 2017)
Music: You Are The Reason - Calum Scott.
This really is a lovely dance the music is haunting soft in parts then builds up to get louder. you have two restarts not easy to hear but fits the dance.

Ok the second dance is called

Pull You Through
Count: 32         Wall: 4      Level: Intermediate - 'Rolling 8' count

Choreographer: Maddison Glover (AUS) and Jo Thompson Szymanski (USA) January 2018
Music: Pull You Through by Maggie Rose (3:25)
Again not easy to do but both music and dance are lovely. There has been some different videos to this dance, some do it with a turn as part of the last 8 counts, and some just walk and the turn is optional. So I have used the choreographer's own video so then you can walk or turn which ever you like to do.

Blue Kisses

Count: 64         Wall: 4       Level: Improver

Choreographer: Karl-Harry Winson (UK) January 2018

Music: "You Broke Another Heart" by Simon Crashly and The Roadmasters. Album: It's Only Rock 'n' Roll… amazon.co.uk
Yes nice easy dance lovely rock 'n' roll you can't beat it.
