Welcome To A New Look Country Roots

Hello and welcome. Yes this is a new look to our website and as we go through the rest of this year there will be more changes.

Page Reviews since 2013

The website was started in 2013 and we have people view the blog from all over the world. at the last count 16000 page reviews from world wide, because Line Dancing is truly an international movement.
OK to the dances, and there are some interesting dances this week. We have a 96 count waltz it sounds horrendous but it's not as bad as it sounds,
We will show some of the dances we did this week. New dance Watching Over Me  it's a nice easy dance I think it will do well at live events.
2 Lane Highway is a high Improve dance is nice, flows really well. Along with Gypsy Queen this dance will fly, it will be done in all the live events around the country
The another dance we did was I Can't Unlove you, this is the 96 count dance, another quick time waltz I think it will be nice when we can do it properly.

Country Roots Has Lots Of New Dances

Country Roots Has Lots Of New Dances

Hello and welcome to Country Roots sorry I haven't written a blog for a while I wasn't in class. But this week we lots of new dances and some very old dances, because we have a lot of new beginners started in the early class. some of the new members haven't danced anywhere before, so it was the old standards, to help them get into understanding the beat and tempo of the dances. Ok that's enough chat there's a lot to get through, so we will start as always with the beginner's and improver's class.

Who looks at YouTube for the walk-through's have a look at a walk-through that Margaret Gough did when the Beginner's class started one year ago. The video has been viewed nearly 8000 times. as yet I haven't looked at the rest.

The Alpine Dance sheet. they isn't a video of the dance

The dance is so easy you won't need a video of the dance.
