This is the outing with the Wednesday members of Country roots Rhyl we had a meal in The Bells of St Mary's Just outside Prestatyn North Wales. The meal was really nice we had lots of laughs telling jokes not rude as they were out of crackers, I think the picture speak for themselves.

I was speaking with Margaret our instructor this week and she has asked me to put a list of some of the dances we have done over the last 12 months or so. I was looking through my YouTube folders because I have my YouTube set up into Learn Now, Like, Not Sure, folders. And there were dances I had forgotten we had done, so See the list in the next post straight after this one.If you have any of your own please put them in the comments under the post.
I will try to put links to the dances on our Blog site to the walk-through's but I can't do them all but I will make a very short walk-through video showing how to copy a dance name and paste it into YouTube search box to come up with the dance you need.

Winter Is Coming Soon

Well winter is coming the cold night will be on us soon, having said that last night in the dance hall was very hot, so by the end of the evening people were feeling quite drained. The session well well going over recent dances some of them are tricky and members still need a bit of help. We would like members to take time to-day to remember Mary Heald who sadly passed away on 27thSept. Mary was a much loved and respected member of Country Roots and will be sadly missed. God Bless You Mary R.I.P. The Funeral was on the 7th at 3.00p.m. St Ann's Church Rhyl.

Margaret Gough held a night of line dancing at the Constitutional Club in  Prestatyn  North Wales,

it was good to get the members together outside of the normal room  class setting. When ever I go to the events and I'm facing a different way to start the dance it confusing because we get uses to starting from the same wall. Hi guys well on wednesday we learnt another new dance this one is called My First Love is a really nice dance by Robbie Mcgowan Hickie He does make some nice dances, this dance has been out since May 2013  and is now  at 6 in the top ten Line Dances Charts, you can see the relevant information with the link  I will put on the blog.

                          There is not a meeting on Monday as it is a Bank Holiday the next meeting will be the following Wednesday the 28th.

Then there will be a period of not having any more new dances to learn for a while, so we can pratice all the dances and get them perfect for when Margaret  returns from her holiday.
