Our Last Night Before Christmas Plus the quizz

This Was Our Last Night Before Christmas

We had our last night of dancing until after the holidays. The pictures show what a good time we had. We had a lucky dip approach to the dances where  every dance had a number and people picked a number out of a hat, and the dances ranged for new dances to 20 years ago.

These pictures include the members from Monday night, and the members from the Thursday morning class.

I was clearing out some of my old dance sheets

I recently moved so as you do you have a sort out, and I found a folder in it were dance sheets and I got to wondering how many dances  wound you remember? I looked at this and I couldn't remember quiet a few. So see how you do remember if you can't remember the dance look it up?

These links are connected to either the YouTube Dance|  Where I can't get the dance because it was very  popular dance I have a link to the YouTube music when I can't get the music I linked it to Copperknob for the dance sheet. See how many dance you can remember before you link the link

New Dances Coming Up?

Hello for the last few weeks the blog had been put on hold as we were doing revision of the recent dances we have learnt, as this wouldn't make for an interesting blog week after week I decided to wait until there was something to report. As we welcome home Margaret, we can look forward to learning some more dances, these are the two Margaret will teach in the near future.

Monday Night Dances

Two New Dances

Hi Guys well here we are again, as I sit writing the blog I can't believe another week as gone by it only seems a few days not seven . last night we learnt two dances one really quick and one bit awkward, having to do steps that doesn't come natural. The Awkward one is called Amsterdam Moonlight The quick dance is  called Let's Pray, and yes I know it's a new dance but until the class really know the steps it feels like your just waving your legs about because it is so quick, our teacher Margaret Gough tells us is not as quick as it looks it is for the moment quick enough.

Heat wave

The Trouble  With YouTube

There has been some problems with YouTube around the making of video walk through Well it's has been sorted out problem solve. The rules are if I record a demonstration walk through and then edit that video and post that recording on line that is fine because it is a live event, if I then overlay a sound track to that video to enhance the musical sound this is where the disputes starts . so as long as we stick to the rules we we be fine. What demo would you like to do next send me comments please see the short video on this post about making a comment.
