Hello And Welcome To The New Year

Hello And Welcome To The New Year

Hello welcome to  Country Roots Blog, we will start the year with new dances and the matching walk-throughs. I always find it hard to get back into Linedancing So the best thing is to dive straight in with the new dances.
Down To The Honkytonk this is  an old fashion type of song and the dance too, this is the sort of thing I started dancing to 20 years ago.

Choreographed by: Peter Jones & Anna Lockwood (Jan 2019)
32 count - 4 wall - Beginner level line dance
Music: "Down To The Honkytonk" by Jake Owen

The next dance is called Tears I Cried this is another true country song and dance. there was a spell where there wasn't any country tunes set to dances. so it nice to hear some good song to good linedances.
Count: 32     Wall: 4      Level: Improver
Choreographer: Karl-Harry Winson (UK) December 2019
Music: "At Least You Cried" by Midland. Album: On The Rocks

The next dance is called Morning Sun nice dance I'm not sure what I think of it yet, but I know out instructor love it.
Count: 64 Wall: 2 Level: Intermediate
Choreographer: Robbie McGowan Hickie (UK) October 2019
Music: "Close Enough To Walk" by Sundance Head. CD: "Stained Glass and Neon" - iTunes & www.amazon.co.uk (108 bpm)

Ok next dance up is  Half Pass Typsy well this dance is quick, and you won't have time to sleep walk your way through it that's for sure. there is another version of linedance with this name, so don't get confused if you get up to do this dance and the room do the other one.

Count: 48  Wall: 2     Level: Easy Intermediate
Choreographer: Jeanne Chamas & Nicole Petrocelli – September 2019
Music: 1, 2 Many – Luke Combs - iTunes
Small Town Summer This is a lovely dance we did this just before Christmas break and I had forgot most it. now re-learning and it's a nice dance.
Count: 68    Wall: 2  Level: Improver / Intermediate
Choreographer: Karl-Harry Winson (UK) February 2019
Music: "Small Town Summer" by Derek Ryan. Album: "Ten"
And the Last dance I'm sure you'll be glad to hear is called. Romeo Tonight I like this song, the dance is ok and I think it will do well  in class and live events.

Count: 64    Wall: 2    Level: Improver
Choreographer: Karl-Harry Winson (UK) September 2019
